Gregory Lenoir Allman was born in Nashville (Tennessee), he is the younger brother of the
future virtuoso Duane Allman bottleneck. Raised in Daytona Beach (Florida), Gregg Allman
guitar practice, but especially the Hammond organ and vocals. The brothers make their debut
in small local groups before forming the psychedelic blues band The Hour Glass in California.
After the departure of Duane Allman, Gregg Allman remains a time in Los Angeles, tried a solo
career. In May 1969, the two Allman brothers are together again and form The Allman
Brothers Bans Jacksonville (Florida). Their southern rock tinged with soul barely has time to
go in the legend, Duane Allman died tragically 29 October 1971. Gregg Allman then began a
solo career with Laid Back in 1973, displaying several titles of The Allman Brothers Band,
whose "Midnight Rider" tube. Then Gregg Allman is divided between his solo career and The
Allman Brothers Band career. Most importantly, it establishes a reputation as bad boy amid
alcohol and cocaine, as well as the regular attendance of the famous Hell's Angels with whom
he shares a passion for Harley Davidson. Married to singer Cher from 1975 to 1979, Gregg
Allman out the excellent The Gregg Allman Tour (1974) and Playin 'Up a Storm (1977). This
album is a "best of Gregg Allman" and has an oreder of shares which are the jewels of the
artist.
