For those not very much familiar with the musicianship of Gregg Allman, this is an excellent compilation. And for those of us who have followed Gregg's career over the decades, this CD is a good remainder of who Gregg is: the finest of the Southern Rock style founded by the Allman Brothers Band (ABB) in the late sixties. This collection shows the successful parallel solo career that Gregg has pursued besides the ABB. And Gregg keps on rockin', completely recovered of his liver transplant and other health ailments. Long live this excellent musician.
