Thee Sixpence are most noted by collectors as the group that, with some lineup changes, evolved into Strawberry Alarm Clock. Before that, they issued some singles in 1966-1967 on the tiny All-American label. The music included here is great garage/punk/psych, featuring lots of fuzz guitar and Farfisa organ.
"Step By Step" is a collection released by Akarma (AK 034) in 1988, including all the singles who recorded by this band. The last 3 tracks are by Strawberry Alarm Clock.
