Rare psychedelic rock from the suburban Chicago scene–pioneering midwestern flower power from The Lemon Drops–from tripped out folk rock to more buzzing Nuggets style grooves!
The group's exceptional "I Live In The Springtime" appeared on the Nuggets box set from Rhino and other harder to find compilations of rare garage & psychedelia and the group deserves to be considered with the likes of other more legendary purveyors of panoramic psyche and gritty garage of the era–really pulling off groovy and jangling melodies and more buzzing and fuzzed out rock with equal aplomb!
The first disc includes previously unreleased version and rarities galore, with "Sometime Ago" (unreleased and raga versions), "The Theater Of Your Eyes", "To The Tower", "Flower Child Eyes And Arms", "Death Calls"., "Guinevere", "Learn To Fly", "Love Is A Word" and much more.
Disc 2 rarities include "My Friend", "Flowers In The Hillside", "I Like You", "Paper Plane Flyer", "Sleeping On Colors", "I Live In The Springtime" (original single mix and extended alternate versions), "Hi, How Are You Today?" and lots more.
Thank You!!
