The
band performed in California called Parish and met with Barry Hansen,
who worked at that time in Fantasy - a subsidiary label Specialty
Records. Hansen becomes the producer group, which changed its name to
the Kingdom and sign a contract with Specialty Records. Kingdom
recorded their self-titled debut album, which turned out to be the
last. Music - at the junction of heavy psychedelia and the emerging
progressive rock. The band's sound is most often compared to bands Iron
Butterfly and Cream. Leader of the group was the vocalist, keyboardist
and guitarist Jim CCIP (Jim Potkey), whose vocal compared with vocals
Burton Cummings (Guess Who) and John Kay (Steppenwolf). Prior to the
release of this CD (on Akarma Records) This album was considered a
rarity.
