Melanie And Me album was released as a promotional drive to the advertising campaign to promote the film shot by director Chris Fitchett in Australia in 1975. The CD was released in an edition of 100 copies, and was distributed to the people who took part in the film, and who was present on a single display today in Sydney. Record was as background music for the entire film, it was actually the second version of the soundtrack, recorded in the last minute by Simon Jones, as Chris was unhappy with the original. Beautiful psychedelic folk-rock music combined male and female vocals, fuzz guitars and organ solos.
