LINN COUNTY Group was formed in 1967 in Linn County, Iowa, United States, as LINN COUNTY BLUES BAND.
In 1968 the band signed with Mercury Records, moved to San Francisco, California, and changed its name to LINN COUNTY .Gruppa released their first album «Proud Flesh Soothseer» in 1968, and became a touring, performing the role of warm-up concerts such groups and musicians as: Albert King, Led Zeppelin, Sly & The Family Stone, Eric Burdon & The Animals and Ten Years After.Gruppa disbanded after drummer Clark Pierson left to play to Janis Joplin.Gruppa LINN COUNTY released three great album.
