Nick "The Greek" Gravenites (Eng. Nick 'The Greek' Gravenites, full name - Nicholas George Gravenites, b. October 2, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American rock musician, singer of blues and folk music, best known for the end 1960 - the beginning of the 1970s, working with Janis Joplin, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and other influential psychedelic rock groups of the West Coast. Gravenites having a great reputation among connoisseurs of Chicago and San Francisco blues unfamiliar wide audience, since little was recorded, and for many years remained in the shadows.
