Moonkyte - Moonkyte 1971

The only album from Bradford county (West Yorkshire). History Quartet began in the late 60's, when the group leader Dave Stansfield and his wife opened a club in Bradford, where celebrities frequented the future - Alexis Korner, Keef Hartley, "Chicken Shack", "Fleetwood Mac". Stansfield once hired guitarist Dave Foster, and as they say, it sang. Rotating among hippies and numerous artists, the duo began writing his own songs and hone them with a bassist and drummer Trevor Craven Mick Humphreys. The album was recorded in London in October 1970. According to the memoirs Dave Stansfield, "Moonkyte" soon recorded their second album, but he still has not been published ... As for the single release, all 12 tracks - a wonderful sample of folk-rock creativity. Great British psychedelia in its classical sense: melodic, slightly meditative compositions using national folklore motifs, fantastic images, plus good arrangements and appropriate vocal.
