Humble Pie - Town & Country (1969)

Essex was established in 1968, the "humble Flounder", the band, well-known musicians. Peter Frampton of the Herd, Steve Marriott of the Small Faces volr excellence, while Greg Ridley appeared in the Spooky Tooth. At first they played traditional blues-based rock music, even very good. Their first single, the Natural Born Boogie right out of the Top Ten charts in the match, which opened the way for their first album. The As Safe As Yesterday Is an excellent disc, which features the music is primarily determined by Marriott and Frampton. Hard blues music at its best although there are numbers between the folk character. That same year, the second album is displayed at the Town And Country, whose long and successful musical material leave the US tour. It is surprising but the disk is almost acoustic, blues, soft and pleasant, perhaps the time being does not fit the usual Humble Pie picture.
