Oliver - Standing Stone 1974 (1995)

Everything that has been done on this album, released only 200 copies. holds known in certain circles rocker named Oliver Chaplin (sound recordist brother Bi-bi-si, who took notes of famous radio sessions of Jimi Hendrix) (not to be confused with another Chaplin, lead singer of British piano rock band '' Keane ''). Oliver himself was quite finicky rocker. His contempt for the commercial rock was known and no label was not interested. This work is a kind of testament to his unique personal vision of the world through the shitty music he created. The recording was made on a farm in Wales for a few days beginning in 1974 directly on the '' Teac 4 channel machine '', using a single microphone, a guitar and a couple prichindal. (No synthesizers!). As a result, we have a fucking whirlpool mixture of folk, blues, and acid rock with a distinctive connotation '' BEEFHEARTIAN ''. At first, not much kerf, but listening specifically - proshiblo completely ... In short - it should be listened to and have. In some subjects such sounds issued dude - just murahi the body.
