"Day Blindness"
started as a school band "Jefferson High School" in San Mateo County
(California). Changing composition and names, finally by 1968 they
become "Day Blindness".
All year they spent in tours to various local clubs, and in the 1969th
in a small private studio "Studio 10" they recorded an album that comes
out without much fuss. Obvious influence on them had "Iron Butterfly"
and "The Doors". The group splits almost immediately after the release.
Gary Pihl then continued its activities with Sammy Hagar and the group
"Boston".
