Fandango - band formed in 1976 in the USA
Real name osnoavatelya group Fandango Joe Lynn Turner Josie Linkvito (Joseph Linquito) and he was born on August 2, 1951 in the town of Hackensack, New Jersey. Joe Italian by birth, and therefore it is not surprising that he chose a career in music. The first experience of Joe Lynn bought in the late 60's, organizing along with several school friends group FILET OF SOUL. Composition is not performed, did not make any records and its existence spent in rehearsals in the garage. The next group of Turner - EZRA was more professional and active in the pubs and bars of New Jersey, playing at the heart of his cover versions of famous hits, including songs and DEEP PURPLE.
Only in 1976, Turner met with absolutely unknown guitarist Rick Blakemore (Rick Blakemore - not to be confused with Ritchie Blackmore!) And they decided to break farther along, calling his project FANDANGO. Soon FANDANGO purchased outline of this group with the accession to the duo of Turner and Blakemore keyboardist Dennis La Rue (Dennis La Rue), bassist Bob Daniels (Bob Danyls) and drummer Lou Mondello (Lou Mondelli). Turner, except vocals and even played guitar. The American public went mad with pomp-rock and therefore the newly organized team began working on their own repertoire, focusing on STYX, KISS and JOURNEY. This approach has provided very soon a group of New Jersey contract with a major company RCA
