Geeza was a Australian band from the late 1970s. Based in Sydney they only released one album entitled "Streetlife". I recall seeing their promo clip for 'Run'n'hide' on
Countdown and there was something about the humour of the clip and the
groovy rhythm of the song that prompted me to go out and spend my lawn
mowing money on their vinyl LP (wish I had have bought the tape now
too). Anyway, to this day their album has just kicked arse in my
world...I love it! I recently transferred it to CD using Magix Audiolab
and it came up a treat. Especially after I added a bit of this and that
to beef up the sound and eliminate the vinyl crackles etc - not that
there were many coz I always used to transfer my LPs to cassette and
only listened to the vinyl direct if I was completely sober and not
likely to scratch it : )
