The Knack (not the ‘My Sharona’ band) played garage beat R&B rock’n’roll, moving into radio-friendly popsike, and had a handful of 45s that fetch good money today. It featured Adrian Gurvitz and his brother Paul (aka Paul Curtis) and became the springboard for creating The Gun when two members left for other bands. Drummer Louis Farrell followed on to The Gun as well, and was also part of the excellent Bulldog Breed project.
