One of the most enjoyable and at the same time one of the lesser-known groups of period "British Invasion", "The Tremeloes" was formed in 1958. By 1961, the group became quite professional enough to train in local clubs and on dance floors. In 1962, a contract was signed with "Decca". In the next two years "Tremeloes" began churning out hit singles (mostly covers) type "Twist and Shout", "Do You Love Me", "Candy Man" and "I Want Candy".
