Wild Horses - The First Album /1980 Lossless

History of English hard rock band WILD HORSES began in the late '70s, when two fairly well-known musician Brian Robertson and Jimmy Bain, temporarily left without a permanent job, decided to join forces. Guitarist Brian Robertson (Brian Robertson), until recently, served as part of THIN LIZZY which he left, after taking part in the recording of a live album "Live And Dangerous" (1978).
In 1978, Brian worked with the famous singer Peter Frenchem (Peter French, ex-BRUNNING SUNFLOWER BLUES BAND, LEAF HOUND, ATOMIC ROOSTER, CACTUS, RANDY PIE), in particular on his solo album "Ducks In Flight", and with his own group MAISON ROUGE. Jimmy Bain (Jimmy Bain) played the bass guitar on two albums RAINBOW - "Rising" (1976) and "On Stage" (1977), but, as we know, this group did not differ constancy, and soon Jimmy was out of work . In the end, the two musicians decided to act together as a band called WILD HORSES, in honor of the legendary songs of THE ROLLING STONES. However, unlike their godfathers, Bane and Robertson decided to play melodic hard rock, which, however, they have done before, and as a part of their old groups. Complete the formation of the composition of the drummer Kenya Jones (Kenney Jones), who spoke earlier in the SMALL FACES and FACES, and guitarist Jimmy McCulloch (Jimmy McCulloch), a former member of SMALL FACES, and before WINGS. Soon, instead of McCulloch appeared guitarist-keyboardist Neil Carter (Neil Carter), once flashed a part UFO.Pozdnee left and Jones, who was offered a promising drummer THE WHO (he later with Paul Rogers gathered a group LAW). New drummer Lee became Dixie (Dixie Lee) of LONE STAR, which also did not stay long and moved to STARCHILD. In the end, the host began to drumset Clive Edwards (Clive Edwards), who played with the PAT TRAVERS BAND, ELECTRIC SUN project and SORRY.

New promising group interested in management EMI, and soon WILD HORSES already working in the studio on new material for the debut record. And I helped them in this paper producer Trevor Rebin (Trevor Rabin, and YES, RABBIT, BONHAM). In November 1979, she appeared first single - "Criminal Tendencies". Recording the album was somewhat delayed, but in April of next year, it has already become known to the public (by the way, you canmeet two more musicians, former colleagues of Robertson - grief Scott (Scott Gorham) and Phil Lynott (Phil Lynott), which were co-authors of two songs - "Flyaway" and "Dealer"). Critics took a pretty cool album with the original title "The First Album", but the students were somewhat different opinion, and the plate got to Top-40 of the British charts. Moreover, at that time it was going full swing revival of public interest in thehard rock, and on this wave band's music has been very helpful.
