Legendary Australian bluesman Matt Taylor played his Australian tweed blues since the mid 60s.
His first band was Bay City Union, which he collected in March 1966 goda.Gruppa preached traditional Chicago blues.
Taylor then briefly sang with Wild Cherries and Horse, toured with Cam-Pact, then joined a blues band Genesis in February.Sleduyuschey group, which has worked with Taylor was Carson Country Band -Together they released the single Bad Luck Feeling \ Back Home on Meating label /
In 1971, a group Taylor CHAIN released a single and innovative album "Toward the Blues" (1971)
In the end, Taylor settled in Perth, where the blues could earn a living and has worked with many local groups.
In 1977, he gathered a group of Western Flyer and immediately recorded the album "First Flight", which sounded in the house every Australian amateur blues.
Western Flyer made three tours of Australia, have released five singles and a live album "Live To Survive!" - The sound of which 1979 Australian outback clearly brought their rural overtones.
The last concert the band gave in the hotel White Saunds Hotel in Scarborough, sold out.
After the group disbanded in 1979, Taylor returned to Perth, he was joined by Phil Manning and they recorded an extremely successful album "Oz Blues" under the name of The Matt Taylor & Phil Manning Band.
