A.R.(Achim Reichel) & Machines - Ar3 (1973, )

Reichel 1960 founded the band The Rattles, which became one of the most successful German beat bands besides The Lords and 1963, with the Rolling Stones a UK tour completed. This was followed by 30 single releases until 1966, followed by a tour of Germany with the Beatles and the movie Hurra, come the Rattles. As a studio companion of Johnny Hallyday Rattles took on 1966 Let them talk yet and it's Monkey Time.

"AR3" is something ordinary and less ambitious than the failed mammoth work "Echo". For this, the disk is significantly more entertaining. Except for the boring "The owners of the world" makes the whole thing quite fun, even if there are no real highlights. Law strange, intense music, the album nevertheless, the one of the more interesting and for Krautrock lovers certainly worth listening to works of this genre.
