THE ZOMBIES-RIP The lost album[1964-68]UK

RECORD LABEL-SWEET DANDELION

After their world- wide and unexpected hit with Time of the Season, the somehow announced death of the Zombies, who had indeed already disbanded, was put off by an attempt at prolonging this success.Using new Odyssey & Oracle era recordings and rescuing some old Decca Out-takes and Demos, a new album was prepared for release.Unfortunately the album never saw the light;instead,a couple of singles were released and the rest of the album was discarded... until some of the material featured here was released in several compilation albums during the 70s and the 80s,much to the astonishment of Zombies fans. This is the first time that the album is released in the way it was conceived.Unlike much of the '' unreleased'' material of other bands, the content of the LP matches the published work of the Zombies,in terms of song-writing and production, confirming the talent of one of the most influential bands of the sixties.Strictly limited to 500 copies.
Tracks:
1.She Loves The Way They Love Her
2.Imagine The Swan
3.Smokey Day
4.Girl Help Me
5.I Could Spend The Day
6.Conversation Off Floral St.
7.If It Don't Work Out
8.I'll Call You Mine
9.I'll Keep Trying
10.I Know She Will
11.Don't Cry For Me
12.Walking In The Sun

The previously unreleased last album by The Zombies!features a batch of tracks were prepared for release pretty much on time with the group's demise-but after a couple of singles, the LP was ultimately shelved.Older Decca sessions still sound remarkably fresh here, the set is totally worth the Zombies legacy.
