After releasing two albums "Indian Summer Blues" and "Street Preacher" on the Richmond, Va. based Feather Records, Bill signed with the prestigious Adelphi Records, one of the best blues labels in the US with worldwide distribution releasing "Sing Like Thunder" and "Giving Good Boy's A Bad Name". This gave him the exposure to play venues all over Europe and the US. After years of touring Bill moved to Key West, Fl in the 80's while still keeping an active touring schedule he became a mainstay playing all the Key West joints, Sloppy Joe's, Hogs Breath Saloon, The Green Parrot Bar and the Full Moon Saloon where he recorded the very popular live CD "Live On The Moon".
These days Bill has gone back to his roots playing acoustic get down blues on his collection of vintage acoustic and resonator guitars solo and with a trio at festivals in the US and Europe. As a New York Times reviewer said about one of Bill's shows in New York City "One moment you are laughing your butt off, and a few songs later you're crying in your beer; from a songwriter, you can't ask for anything more."
