Empire (feat. Peter Banks) - 1973 Mark I

Artist: Empire
 Album: Mark I
 Country: UK
 Genre: Progressive Rock
 Year: 1973
 Format: MP3 CBR 320 kbps
 Size: 110 MB

Guitarist Peter Banks (known for Yes) left Flash group management to implement a new project called Empire.
The composition included Mark Murdock drums, Paul Delph keys, Brad Stephenson bass guitar.  The group was even more unusual among the other progressive groups in that the frontman of this group was a woman.  She was, Sidney Fox, (by the way, she was married to Peter), her strong vocal at times even compared with Janice Joplin.
To create the first album, Peter Banks invites Phil Collins from the Genesis group to help.  The subsequent two albums also have a fairly high quality among the progressive fans, which is unfortunate that the band had no reason to collapse in 1980.
