Irish Coffee - Irish Coffee (BEL 1972)

Studio Album [ MP3 | @256 | 70.4 MB ]

Belgium | 1972 | Prog Rock | Heavy Prog

This is a very rare and practically unknown album from Belgium. They made one album before their very good Hammond player was killed. Stylistically they owe a debt to Spooky Tooth and early Deep Purple. The talented guitarist’s tone and style are very similar to that of Blackmore’s in the first two Purple albums with lots of wah-wah. Don’t look here for intricacies or great depth but if well crafted short songs interlaced with excellent solos are your thing then look no further. Simply structured songs but very melodic and satisfying. All songs from the original album are good to very good. (RateYourMusic)
