Time, 1975 - Time

"Time" - Time (1975)
UK, Progressive Rock

After drummer Tony Brock left the band “Spontaneous Combustion”, the Margetts brothers recorded the self-titled album under the guise of “Time”, as they were legally deprived of the opportunity to use the name of their old band. To record the album, drummer Jode Leigh and guitarist Alec Johnson were involved. The album "Time" was released on "Buk Records" (a division of BASF). The record can be described as a prog, interspersed with angular and heavy guitar riffs, quickly replaced by torn rhythms and extended instrumental passages in which musicians demonstrate their virtuosity. This album is sure to appeal to fans of “Yes” and “Styx”. Tris Margetts later performed with Greg Lake as part of his group in 1981, and participated in the recording of the albums "Greg Lake" (1981) and "Manoeuvres" (1983), and also participated in his tours.
