Glory - On The Air 1970 | 60's-70's ROCK

In the big cities, as a rule, there is always one or more religious groups. Groups that become local heroes, but, for various reasons, never knocked out in the big leagues. It is this group and was "Glory" from San Diego (California). Formed a group Jerry Raney (who later became the founder of groups such as "Shine", "Jerry Raney And The Shames" and party to such famous teams as "The Farmers", "Beat Farmers") and Jack Pinney (ex-"Iron Butterfly" '66). In 1970 they recorded a live album for a local radio station "KRPI", which was published by "Rich Haupt's Rockadelic" in the 2001 edition of 600 copies. On the LP to quote Jerry Raney: «DJ equipment set up, introduced the band and left. We guys did not know what to do: whether to declare every song, whether in between, adjust tool. As a result, we drank beer and thought what a thing to play again. "Reduction Clark Faville conscientiously fulfilled, so the band's sound was awesome. Powerful guitar riffs, powerful vocals, excellent rhythm section. But honestly, nothing new guys do not come up with - they played traditional hard rock in the tradition of "Blue Cheer" and "Led Zeppelin". The record consists of half covers, half of his own material.
